Concept
Clothes are made by human and worn by our body.
The original concept from CharinYeh is from the land where we grow and walk on. And it develops the design with the unity of three elements: nature, earth, humanities into fashion.
How do we define the happiness?
It's about being free, tolerant, kind, joyful, and don’t forget where we belong.
Background
CharinYeh was born in a farming family near the Zhuoshui River.
She has always been down-to-earth, nature-loving and has connected feelings with Mother Earth.
She started to learn tailoring when she was young. The first dress she made is composed by a fertilizer bag, which easily to get in farm.
During her adulthood, she moved to the metropolitan Taipei city, and has often visited various countries to get different inspirations to expand her experience in fashion.

It's about being free, tolerant, kind, happy, and not to forget our own root.
Background
CharinYeh was born in a farmer's family near the Zhuoshui River.
She has always been down-to-earth, nature-loving and cared about local communities.
She started to learn dressmaking from tailors when she was a teenager.
And the material for her first piece was made from a fertilizer bag, a skirt that she dye, cut and sew.
She has lived in the metropolitan Taipei City in her adulthood, and has often visited
different countries to expand her thinking about fashion and art.
This island is prospered because of culture, from which the creative industry has emerged.
Culture is not simple. Fashion is not complex. They are interwoven on clothes, representing a unique sense of being free.
1985 Established at Taipei. Hosted the first fashion show.
1987 Invited to join the famous Sunrise Department Store with designer clothing.
1996 Invited to Taipei Fashion Show.
1999 Invited to Association of Taipei Fashion Designers’ joint fashion show.
2001 Invited to demonstration show for fashion designers in Taiwan and China.
2002 Hosted the first fashion show at Shanghai.
2005 Hosted the Twentieth Anniversary Retrospective Exhibition.
2007 Invited to the “Taipei in Style” event.
2013 Hosted AW fashion showcase at the Taipei Confucius Temple.
2015 Hosted SS fashion showcase with the Taipei Quajie Dance Theater.
2015 Made a publicity film - with Aspiration Music Productions & DJ POINT.
2018 Hosted SS fashion showcase – with Venue band and MW Studio, and invited Yen Jenfa to represent the “oyster girls” on a billboard.
2018 Hosted SS fashion showcase at the Taipei Fashion Show – jointly produced with OKai Singers.
2019 Hosted SS fashion showcase with the theme “Maritime trade”.
2020 Collaborated with the photographer PUZZLEMAN for AW20 collection in Dadaocheng, also participated in “Who’s Next” exhibition in Paris
2020 Step forward into the international market due to the “Who’s Next” in Paris.
Inherited the brand characteristic of CHARINYEH, CRY has abandoned the symbols to echo the brand spirit of CHARINYEH – clothing has no frames.
The soul of clothes comes by human and style comes from how it's being worn. CRY integrates drape cut and simplistic lines to reproduce a unique attitude.
